Job summary

For Our Future Action Fund seeks a Data Coordinator to support the national data team. The role extracts, transforms, and loads field data across voter contact platforms, assists in compliance reporting, and develops training materials for diverse audiences.

The position runs through November 12, 2026, with remote work options and a full benefits package including health insurance, parental leave, retirement matching, a cell/internet stipend, mileage allowance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in electoral campaigns or advocacy.
• Knowledge of electoral plans, targeting and GOTV best practices.
• Excellent communications and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft apps (Slides/Sheets/Excel).
• Proficiency in VAN.
• Willingness to work long hours as needed.
• Experience in fast-paced projects.
• Nonprofit sector experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Review voter contact materials (door, phone, SMS) and ensure accuracy.
• Refresh turf daily and ensure correct universe for canvass programs.
• Provide quality control and technical assistance for state programs; supervise turf tools and staff activity.
• Build and test VAN scripts and MiniVAN campaigns before launch.
• Coordinate with state staff to ensure smooth execution of materials and daily checks.
• Monitor texting campaigns for proper script branching; provide coverage.
• Support VAN access troubleshooting and Slack channel.
• Reconcile MiniVAN Activity reports with state Turf Trackers.
• Log and escalate persistent data problems to national data team.
• Assist onboarding and training on VAN, MiniVAN, and data processes.
• Ensure culturally competent materials and collaboration with state staff.
• Support National Data Team and National Organizing Team on tasks.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
