Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Technician to uphold the operational integrity of data center electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems. You will maintain processes to maximize uptime, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with contractors for quality maintenance.

The role requires a broad hands-on skill set across chilled water systems, HVAC, UPS, and power distribution, with a focus on keeping customer downtime to a minimum and improving overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Understanding of data center mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA standards and building codes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work shifts including nights/holidays.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategies to minimize operating costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintains mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Monitors systems and responds to abnormal conditions to minimize downtime.
• Reviews blueprints and diagrams to determine maintenance sequences.
• Coordinates with contractors for maintenance and upgrades.
