Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical facility operations, electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems, ensuring uptime and safety across a high‑demand environment.

You will read specs, monitor systems, and work with contractors to maintain performance and reliability. On-site responsibilities include installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, UPS, generators, and fire suppression components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with 2+ years in mechanical/electrical roles in critical facilities.
• CPR/First Aid and NFPA70E certification during employment.
• OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems in data centers.
• Inspect equipment, read blueprints, and install or service components.
• Work with contractors to review quality and ensure safety standards.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and after-hours coverage.
