Job summary

CEFCU Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to manage and optimize CEFCU’s Data Center infrastructure. You will handle operational duties, monitor endpoints, and support production systems to ensure reliable service for members.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, VMware, and SQL, plus strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of combined experience in desktop engineering and/or systems operations, with a strong foundation in managing enterprise environments and supporting production infrastructure.
• Experience in system monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting across distributed environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Operational knowledge of: Network Security Event Management, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, Windows Active Directory, System Administration, VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft SQL, M365/Entra.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; self-starter; adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational aspects of CEFCU’s Data Center infrastructure to support the member experience.
• Provide technical support escalation from desktop and Telecom staff.
• Ensure high availability and performance of production infrastructure.
