CEFCU Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to manage and optimize CEFCU’s Data Center infrastructure. You will handle operational duties, monitor endpoints, and support production systems to ensure reliable service for members.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, VMware, and SQL, plus strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of combined experience in desktop engineering and/or systems operations, with a strong foundation in managing enterprise environments and supporting production infrastructure.
• Experience in system monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting across distributed environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Operational knowledge of: Network Security Event Management, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, Windows Active Directory, System Administration, VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft SQL, M365/Entra.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; self-starter; adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Leverages prior advanced experience to administer systems, manage endpoint ecosystems at scale, and contribute to server and cloud-based operations. • Experienced in system monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting across distributed environments to ensure high availability and performance. Demonstrates the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues, streamline operational processes, and support infrastructure stability and optimization in fast-paced environments. • Operational knowledge of: Network Security Event Management TCP/IP protocol LAN/WAN technologies Windows Active Directory Environment; System Administration VMWare vSphere Current Windows Desktop Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software in a network environment.
