Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction procurement or subcontract buying, with competitive bids from request for proposal to award.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and scopes of work, and identify gaps before award.
• Experience leveling bids and writing award recommendations.
• Strong vendor relationships and a habit of following up without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and Bidding: Own subcontract packages from request to award across trades; build RFPs with Engineering and Construction; manage bidding process, questions, and addenda.
• Award and Work Orders: Prepare work orders, negotiate terms, and hand to Legal for signature; track to execution; assist budget coding and schedule setup.
• Vendor Management: Build vendor pools, qualify vendors (NDA, MSA, insurance, bonding, safety); run post-award kickoff and monitor performance.
• Scale With the Business: Stand up procurement for new sites; improve templates and tools as portfolio grows.
