Job summary

Giga Energy Inc. is seeking a hands-on Buyer to own subcontract packages for data center projects from request to award. You will issue RFPs, level bids, and craft award recommendations while collaborating with Engineering and Construction to close gaps before bidding.

This remote role prefers candidates in Texas with about 20% travel to project sites; you will manage multiple live packages across projects and partner with Legal on terms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction procurement or subcontract buying.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and scopes of work.
• Experience leveling bids and awarding recommendations.
• Strong vendor relationships and proactive follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and bidding for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical trades.
• Build RFPs with Engineering and Construction; verify scope.
• Level bids and write award recommendations.
• Negotiate terms and prepare work orders; manage post‑award vendor performance.
