Job summary

Generac Power Systems seeks a Technical Field Service Manager to lead on-site and remote support for data center power generation equipment. You will troubleshoot, install, and modify equipment while supporting sales and service teams across multiple Texas locations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of relevant field experience, and strong collaboration with engineering and sales to deliver mission-critical reliability.

Qualifications

• Provide technical support and setup for data center customers.
• Assist in site certification and EPA testing.
• Develop and distribute service and parts bulletins to notify customers of product changes or issues.
• Assist sales managers with customer training.
• Build relationships with customers’ service managers.
• Coordinate customer calls with regional sales managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input to engineering during new product initiation and existing product improvements.
• Provide feedback from the field to Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical support.
• Prepare written weekly reports on product issues and upsell opportunities.
• Aid Service Training with manuals and accuracy reviews.
• Evaluate Engineering Change Requests to determine new service parts needs.
