Job summary

ENERCON is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects and manage schedules, risk, and budgets for data center initiatives. You will oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or PMP with 8 years of experience, plus 3+ years in data-center project management. Travel 10-15% may be required and a PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification with 8 years of experience in engineering consulting, project management or data center
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager or engineer with data center experience
• PMP certification preferred
• Experience with hyperscale data centers as a consultant is a plus
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge in earned value management and progress reporting
• Experience with contract language and NDAs
• Understanding of budgeting and accounting processes
• Strong coordination and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to travel 10%-15% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and manage schedules, risk and financial health
• Develop detailed engineering proposals with technical teams
• Oversee work of engineers, designers, and subcontractors
• Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and deliverables
• Plan, implement and supervise client contracts and travel to client facilities as needed
