Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Design Manager for Data Centers to lead design management across multiple sites and coordinate due diligence, planning, and execution. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality design and timely delivery.

The position involves developing proposals, managing changes, and communicating with stakeholders. A PE or architecture license and Lean Six Sigma are advantageous for this remote US-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architecture License is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is advantageous.
• 12 years of experience in colocation and/or hyper-scale data center design management.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence and design teams for data center projects, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Develop and enforce project management plans across multiple sites
• Facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders to align on project goals
• Manage project changes proactively and communicate effectively with all parties
• Identify and resolve problems early in the project lifecycle
• Provide regular project updates and address outstanding issues with stakeholders
• Create technical and financial proposals for new data center projects
