Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architecture License is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is advantageous.
• 12 years of experience in colocation and/or hyper-scale data center design management.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence and design teams for data center projects, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Develop and enforce project management plans across multiple sites
• Facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders to align on project goals
• Manage project changes proactively and communicate effectively with all parties

For our client, we are seeking a Design Manager, Data Centers - Remote (U.S.) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead the design management effort for data center projects, coordinating due diligence, project planning, and execution across multiple sites. The position partners closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams to ensure design quality, timely delivery, and proactive issue resolution. It also plays a key role in developing technical and financial proposals that support new project opportunities. Location: Remote Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
