Job summary

AECOM is seeking a remote Data Center Control System Designer to join the Buildings & Places team. You will design and specify state-of-the-art automation and SCADA systems for data centers, coordinating with mechanical, electrical and ICT designers across global projects.

The role requires BAS/PLC experience, knowledge of OT networks, and the ability to work from various US locations. Occasional travel may be required for key milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
• Experience with BAS and PLC control systems is essential.
• Knowledge of PMS/EPMS and data center controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams to develop control sequences, diagrams and points lists.
• Develop and tailor BAS, PLC and PMS specifications and BODs for data center projects.
• Design resilient OT networks (ethernet, serial) and ensure cyber security alignment.
• Verify compliance with US codes and engineering standards; coordinate with ICT and other disciplines.
• Support project meetings, manage changes, and track budget and schedule.
