Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within data centers and heavy industrial sectors. This role involves remote travel with 100% onsite assignments at client sites and requires strong coordination with clients and subcontractors.

You will oversee change requests, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and issue resolution, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering) or combination of experience and/or education.
• 5+ years of direct project management experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems.
• Commitment to clear communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time.
• Tactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities.
• A good understanding of reading drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with computer-based estimating.
• Knowledge of billing and collections.

Responsibilities

• Estimating project scope and costs.
• Manage project expectations and execution of subcontractors.
• Maintaining project documentation.
• Tracking project expenses and budget.
• Preparing reports.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Attend and actively participate in project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required.
• Research and preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval.
• Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions.
• Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes.
• Submittal and RFI processes.
• Early completion and tracking of billing.
