Job summary

Fuego Leads is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to own the data stack end-to-end, from architecture to governance. You will drive metric definitions, data quality, and AI-enabled analytics across the organization.

The role involves leading a small team, collaborating with executive stakeholders, and delivering a scalable data platform using BigQuery and a cloud data stack. Remote within the US is supported, with hybrid options from Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data and analytics leadership.
• Expert SQL and production Python.
• Experience with dbt or modern transformation frameworks.
• Strong BigQuery production experience.
• Deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models.
• Multi-touch attribution and identity resolution across systems.
• Experience with AI tooling in delivery.
• Clear written communication for exec audiences.
• Proven ownership of data warehouse design end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Define core metrics and ownership of calculations.
• Architect target-state data platform across sources and warehouse.
• Lead a small team including one direct report.
• Partner with executive, marketing, and engineering to translate data into decisions.
• Own model quality, deployment, and retraining.
• Evaluate AI platforms and vendors.
• Deliver governance and data lineage.
