Job summary

Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own client warehouses in BigQuery. You will design data pipelines, implement Dataform models, and deliver robust data platforms for analytics on top of GA4 exports and CMS content.

Real-time collaboration with US teams happens during LATAM working hours, with USD compensation and flexible remote work. You will also mentor Fueled engineers, partner with project managers, and ensure dashboards

Qualifications

Shipped Dataform or dbt in production with BigQuery.
Owned Python data pipelines in production with rate limits and backfills.
Experience with IAM, service accounts, and cross-project promotion.
Can trace GA4 events to dashboards and explain data choices.
Collaborates with project managers, strategists, and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead data engineering on client engagements to bring marketing and product data into BigQuery.
Build and operate Dataform projects from raw landing tables to analytics views.
Write and maintain Python ingestion services on Cloud Run with backfills.
Set up warehouse operations inside the client's GCP tenancy with IAM and monitoring.
Explain technical decisions to non-engineering stakeholders.
