Job summary

Fueled is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own client data warehouses within Google Cloud, focusing on GA4 exports, marketing APIs, and CMS content backed by BigQuery models. You will write Python data pipelines and SQL, and produce runbooks for client teams.

Remote role in LATAM with USD compensation, collaborating with US-based teams to deliver enterprise-grade analytics for globally recognized brands.

Qualifications

Shipped Dataform or dbt on BigQuery in production, with assertions and scheduled runs.
Knowledge of GA4 BigQuery export schema before and after flattening.
Experience building Python data pipelines with rate limits and backfills.
IAM: service accounts, impersonation, cross-project promotion.
Looker Studio/Looker on BigQuery via service accounts and dashboard tracing.
Ability to explain data decisions to non-engineers and work with PMs.

Responsibilities

Lead data engineering on client engagements to bring marketing and product data into BigQuery.
Build and operate Dataform projects from raw landing tables to analytical views and production promotions.
Write and maintain Python ingestion services on Cloud Run with rate limits and backfills.
Set up runbooks, IAM, monitoring, and cost controls in the client’s GCP tenancy.
Collaborate with project managers and client stakeholders, defending estimates and explaining tech choices.
