Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Data Analyst II to join Mobile Inspections. You will build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses to help leaders understand operational performance and drive informed decisions.

The role partners with Operations, QA, Dispatch, and other teams to deliver timely reporting and support day-to-day business needs. You will work with senior analysts and Operations leadership on reporting, dashboard development, and analytical requests, turning data into actionable

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
• BS/BA Degree in related discipline plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience building and maintaining reporting and dashboards.
• 2+ years' experience troubleshooting or supporting web-based applications.
• 2+ years' experience with databases and database query tools (Snowflake).
• Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, AWS.
• 2+ years of performing analysis and building data processes.
• Strong experience with reporting tools (PowerBI).
• Working experience with SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2).
• Working experience with large scale datasets.
• Experience presenting data to leadership for decision making.
• Knowledge of data extrapolation and chart compilation.
• Stored Procedures in SQL experience.
• Proficient MS Office analytics (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis: define business questions, cleanse and transform data, identify trends, visualize data, and present insights.
• Support data science and data engineering by tackling complex analyses and data features.
• Build data processes and pipelines; ensure data quality and timely delivery.
• Assist product management with KPIs, features, and data sourcing for differentiation.
• Develop and validate derived metrics and business rules; monitor data quality across stores.
