Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Automotive Data Analyst to extract insights from extensive automotive data, informing product development and operations. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and a chance to influence decisions across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a quantitative background, strong data analysis skills, and expertise in Python, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, with experience in the automotive domain. Remote work from anywhere is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in automotive.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with Python, R, Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong statistical modeling and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent communication and data-driven storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large automotive datasets.
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends and correlations.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and insights.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define data needs.
• Use machine learning to build predictive models for maintenance and churn.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
