Job summary

University of Tennessee, Knoxville - SWORPS is seeking a Data Analyst to support a three-year, statewide randomized evaluation of the Relative Caregiver Program. You will manage de-identified data, build reproducible data systems, and conduct statistical analyses to inform continuous quality improvement and federal reporting.

The role collaborates with state agencies and providers while protecting confidentiality. The position is grant-funded and contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in analytics, statistics, data science, public health, economics, computer science, social science, or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data management, statistical analysis, data reporting, and visualization.
• Substantial applied research, internship, or project experience may substitute for up to one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, database specifications, and reproducible analytic files.
• Receive, clean, de-duplicate, merge, and document de-identified data from multiple sources.
• Monitor randomization, study operations, and data-system readiness across providers.
• Create monthly dashboards and visualizations for CQI, reporting, and policy needs.
• Document analytic decisions, code, and procedures; train staff on data definitions and secure reporting.
