Job summary

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is seeking a Data Analyst to support the three‑year Supporting Families That Support Their Kin project. You will manage de‑identified data, develop reproducible data systems, monitor randomization, perform statistical analyses, and create dashboards for federal reporting and program evaluation.

Reporting to the Applied Research Team Lead, you will collaborate with SWORPS, Tennessee DCS, and providers while upholding confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in analytics, statistics, data science, public health, economics, CS, or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data management, statistical analysis, data reporting, and visualization.
• Demonstrated ability cleaning and linking data from multiple sources and communicating findings in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Manage secure, de-identified administrative, provider, survey, and cost data.
• Develop reproducible data systems and quality controls.
• Monitor randomization and study operations; conduct analyses and create dashboards/reports.
• Collaborate with state agencies, providers, and federal partners while protecting confidentiality.
