The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is seeking a Data Analyst IV in Austin to perform complex data analysis, reporting, and data management in support of agency financial and operational objectives.

You will develop data-driven solutions, improve data quality, create dashboards and reports, and collaborate with the Office of Finance to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility; full-time remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and maintaining SQL scripts.
• Experience creating visualizations using Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university with relevant major preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs data analysis using SQL, Visual Basic, and TOAD to prepare financial reports.
• Leads data quality activities and establishes standards and validation processes.
• Supports data integration across financial and reporting systems.
