Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking a Systems Analyst 3 in Austin. The role focuses on analyzing business needs, coordinating JAD sessions, and delivering data-driven solutions using SQL and dashboards.

The candidate will work 3 days remote and 2 days onsite at 4601 W Guadalupe St, Austin, TX. Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred and will collaborate across the organization during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• 8 years of IT experience with design, development or delivery of technology solutions.
• 8 years with Integrated Eligibility systems and full SDLC involvement.
• 8 years in business and data analysis.
• 8 years conducting JAD sessions and eliciting requirements.
• 8 years using SQL with complex joins.
• 8 years analyzing data quality.
• 8 years designing dashboards with measures and KPIs.
• 4 years TIERS experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and document business processes and data analysis findings.
• Confer with organizational units to analyze procedures and data input/output needs.
• Develop descriptions of user needs, program functions, and changes to systems.
• Review system capabilities against requested changes for feasibility.
• Design dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to support data-driven decisions.
