Job summary

RevStar is seeking a Data & AI Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Digital Solutions Practice. You will embed at the intersection of cloud architecture, hands-on engineering, and client-facing delivery, owning the full lifecycle for high-impact enterprise accounts on AWS.

Lead migrations and modernization, deploy GenAI/ML workloads, and drive AWS adoption while mentoring engineers and building scalable patterns across engagements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud Architecture/DevOps/Software with AWS.
• 3+ years in a client-facing consulting or Forward Deployed Engineering role.
• Deep AWS core services mastery (IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53).
• IaC and CI/CD: Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation; automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• AWS GenAI & Data Services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, OpenSearch.
• AWS Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional; specialty certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Cloud Architecture & Implementation: design, build, deploy secure, scalable AWS architectures using IaC and microservices patterns.
• Enterprise Customer Delivery: lead technical delivery for strategic enterprise engagements with CIOs/CTOs/VPs.
• Cloud Migration & Application Modernization: migrate from on-premises and re-architect monoliths to serverless or containerized forms.
• AWS GenAI & ML: architect and deploy GenAI/ML workloads with Bedrock, SageMaker, vector stores, RAG.
• Drive Platform Adoption & Growth: identify high-value workloads and drive AWS consumption with client leadership.
• Mentorship & Practice Building: coach engineers, drive accelerators, reusable modules, Well-Architected reviews.
