Job summary

RevStar seeks a Data & AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed at the intersection of enterprise cloud architecture, hands-on engineering, and client-facing delivery. You will own the full delivery lifecycle for high-impact accounts, architecting resilient AWS environments, modernizing legacy systems, and deploying cutting-edge GenAI architectures.

You will drive AWS adoption, build POCs, and align technically with client executives while mentoring engineers and advancing RevStar’s cloud practice.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud Architecture, DevOps/SRE, or Software Engineering focused on AWS.
• 3+ years in client-facing consulting, solutions architecture, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Deep AWS core services expertise (IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
• IaC & CI/CD: Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation; automated pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI).
• Experience with AWS GenAI & data services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, OpenSearch.
• AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect – Professional and/or DevOps Engineer – Professional required; specialty certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on cloud architecture design, implementation, and deployment on AWS using IaC and serverless patterns.
• Lead enterprise client engagements as the primary technical leader, translating business goals into AWS solutions.
• Manage large-scale migrations and modernization of legacy apps to cloud-native architectures.
• Architect and deploy GenAI/ML workloads using Bedrock, SageMaker, and related data services.
• Drive platform adoption, identify high-value workloads, and demonstrate ROI to executives.
• Mentor cloud engineers and drive internal accelerators, reusable Terraform modules, and best practices.
