Job summary

RevStar is seeking a Data & AI Forward Deployed Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure AWS architectures for large enterprise engagements. You will lead technical delivery, migrations, and GenAI/Ml workloads while partnering with CIOs/CTOs to translate business goals into scalable cloud solutions.

As a forward deployed engineer, you will mentor cloud engineers, build reusable Terraform modules, and drive AWS Well‑Architected practices across client projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud Architecture, DevOps/SRE, or Software Engineering with a focus on AWS.
• 3+ years in client-facing consulting, Solutions Architecture, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Mastery across core AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53).
• IaC and CI/CD: Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation with automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
• Experience with AWS GenAI & Data: Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, OpenSearch.
• AWS Certifications: SA-Pro and/or DevOps-Pro required; specialty certs are a plus.
• Experience leading technical delivery for Fortune 500 or mid-market clients; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Cloud Architecture & Implementation on AWS using IaC and modern microservices/serverless patterns.
• Lead enterprise client engagements as primary technical leader.
• Drive cloud migrations and modernization of legacy apps to AWS.
• Architect GenAI/ML workloads using Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, and related tools.
• Identify high-value cloud workloads with account leadership and quantify ROI.
• Mentor engineers and drive internal accelerators, reusable modules, and AWS best practices.
