Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Cypress) to join its fully remote global team. You will develop and maintain automated testing suites to ensure high-quality web applications and collaborate with development teams to embed fast, in-browser testing into the software delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in test automation, proven Cypress experience, strong JavaScript skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in test automation or QA.
• Proven expertise with end-to-end and component tests using Cypress.
• Strong JavaScript proficiency for automated test scripts.
• Solid understanding of frontend testing methodologies and in-browser execution.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and maintaining automated test suites.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end test suites with Cypress and JavaScript.
• Develop isolated component tests for UI elements and frontend logic.
• Use Cypress to run tests in-browser and identify defects early.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testable criteria.
