Job summary
BairesDev, a global technology leader, is seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to ensure top quality of software products through thorough test planning and meticulous execution.
You will design test plans, run manual, regression and exploratory tests across APIs and UI, document defects, and collaborate with developers to accelerate fixes, while applying basic automation concepts within modern CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Manual Testing, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in test planning, creating detailed test cases, and executing manual, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with API and UI validation, defect tracking, and clear documentation.
- Good exposure to test automation concepts and integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of new features.
- Perform manual, regression, and exploratory testing across user interfaces and APIs to catch edge-case bugs.
- Document and track software defects clearly, collaborating with developers to accelerate resolution.
- Validate system behavior against functional requirements to safeguard the end-user experience.
- Leverage basic test automation concepts and align testing activities with modern delivery pipelines.
