Job summary

Orca Security is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to amplify Orca's story across media, analysts, and the cybersecurity community globally.

Reporting to the VP Product Marketing and Communications, the PR Specialist will drive public relations programs across the US, Europe, and worldwide, coordinating with external agencies to land coverage, elevate executives and researchers, and keep Orca top of mind in a fast-moving industry.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PR experience in B2B technology related to cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise software.
• Experience running PR programs across US and European markets.
• Proven experience managing PR agency relationships and holding partners accountable to outcomes.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn technical topics into clear, newsworthy stories.
• Strong project management skills with multiple concurrent programs across regions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day contact for Orca's PR agencies in US, Europe and globally, prioritizing, reviewing deliverables and managing timelines.
• Support media relations end-to-end across US and European markets: draft press releases, pitches, briefings, and messaging; coordinate interviews; manage rapid-response opportunities.
• Amplify Orca's research and data by translating threat research into compelling media stories for global audiences.
• Drive thought leadership programs: manage bylines, contributed articles, awards submissions, and speaking opportunities.
• Prepare spokespeople with briefing materials and media training.
• Track, measure and report PR performance across regions to refine programs.
• Coordinate PR support for milestones: product launches, funding, partnerships, events across US/Europe.
• Collaborate with content, demand gen, product marketing and analyst relations to keep messaging consistent across channels.
