Job summary

Qode is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to shape and maintain its public image across media and digital channels. You will develop strategic communication plans, manage media relations, craft compelling narratives, and collaborate with marketing, legal, and leadership to ensure brand alignment.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in PR, strong storytelling, crisis communication experience, and proficiency with PR tools and social platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven PR or communications experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong grammar and style.
• Proven ability to craft compelling press materials and media pitches.
• Established media relationships and solid media relations knowledge.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms.
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to boost visibility and reputation.
• Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
• Write and distribute press releases, advisories, and PR collateral.
• Handle media inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Organize press conferences, media events, and related activities.
• Monitor media coverage and trends; report insights to stakeholders.
• Develop crisis communication plans and serve as a primary contact during crises.
• Collaborate with marketing, legal, and leadership to ensure brand consistency.
• Create engaging content for social, blogs, and newsletters.
• Measure PR campaign impact and report results.
