Job summary

Orca Security is seeking a Field CISO / Technical Evangelist to serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs and security leaders, translating cloud security concepts into clear guidance for both security practitioners and business executives.

The role combines deep technical credibility with executive presence, requiring superb storytelling and offering a generous compensation package, equity, and a flexible hybrid/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience, including as a CISO or senior security executive.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security trends, competitors, and market.
• Experience in technically oriented product sales.
• Experience creating and delivering content for webinars, webcasts, interviews, and panels.
• Experience with major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Ability to explain complex topics to both business and technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Advise CISOs and security leaders on reducing business risk with Orca CNAPP capabilities.
• Join executive conversations on architecture, positioning, and objections for strategic deals.
• Represent Orca as a thought leader at conferences and roundtables on cloud security trends.
• Relay customer needs, regulatory shifts, and competitive intelligence to Product and Engineering.
• Serve as executive sponsor to Orca Customer Advisory boards.
• Become an expert Orca Security user with deep knowledge of the console and API.
• Contribute scripts and tools to Orca’s Github repository.
• Build relationships with CISO communities, analysts, and industry peers to strengthen Orca’s credibility.
