Job summary

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a Technical Project Manager – Onboarding + Implementation to lead onboarding for vCISO and managed services engagements. You will translate contracts into actionable plans, coordinate internal and client resources, and drive timelines from onboarding through transition to ongoing service delivery.

The role requires strong cybersecurity knowledge, practical project management, and client-facing communication to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–6+ years of project management, implementation, onboarding, or client delivery experience.
• Experience within cybersecurity consulting, GRC, managed security services, or a closely related environment.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical, consulting, and operational resources and managing both executive and operational client stakeholders.
• ClickUp experience is beneficial; PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or similar certification is preferred but not required.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding and implementation lifecycle from contract handoff through transition into ongoing service delivery.
• Translate contracted scope into an onboarding project plan with milestones, owners, inputs, and target dates.
• Establish onboarding success criteria and transition-readiness requirements.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, blockers, delays, scope concerns, and other issues affecting onboarding.
