Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to deliver hands-on security engineering and advisory services for client environments across on-prem, cloud, networks, and endpoints. You'll design, deploy, configure, and support security technologies, develop architecture diagrams, and contribute to incident response playbooks while aligning with clients’ business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security industry.
• 5+ years managing Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with systems administration and network infrastructure.
• Experience implementing security technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure security infrastructure to ensure a robust and resilient security posture.
• Perform complex deployments of security technologies.
• Execute information security activities such as vulnerability management, application development security, business continuity, networking, risk management, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and protocols into the client's infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks.
• Understand various security framework standards and compliance requirements (NIST 800-53, ISO 270001, NIST CSF, CIS).
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and proactively implement countermeasures.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Research, evaluate, and drive next-generation security technologies.
