Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to provide hands-on cybersecurity engineering and advisory services to client environments, designing, deploying, configuring, and supporting security technologies across infrastructure, cloud, networks, and endpoints.

You will collaborate with clients to understand their security maturity and business goals, develop security documentation and incident response playbooks, and stay current with threats and regulatory requirements while guiding

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the security field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
• Experience with systems administration and network infrastructure required.
• CISSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure security infrastructure to ensure a robust posture.
• Deploy complex security technologies across environments.
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and runbooks.
• Understand compliance standards (NIST, ISO, CIS) and apply them to operations.
• Stay current with threats and propose countermeasures.
• Guide clients and internal teams on security best practices.
• Evaluate next‑gen security technologies to meet organizational needs.
