Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to design, engineer, and assess key elements of our cybersecurity program. You will support governance, risk and compliance activities, IAM, data, endpoint security, and more as a lead SME.

As a senior consultant, you will mentor others, design and implement approaches, and drive project delivery with minimal supervision in a 100% remote role. Expect 40 hours weekly and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree through an accredited institution, or an advanced cybersecurity certification such as the CISSP or SANS 700+ Series
• 9-10 years of related work experience
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes
• Expert Troubleshooting skills
• Expert skill in analysis, attention to detail, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making
• Expert skill in communication, presentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Technical configuration, engineering, management and monitoring
• Risk analysis, corrective action planning, policy development
• Cyber threat monitoring, prevention, remediation and incident response
• Policy, procedure and guidance development
• Architectural design, standards and documentation
• Server administration and scripting
• Data compiling, analytics and reporting
• Cloud operations, cloud security and DevSecOps
• Automation principles and how they can be applied in IT environments
• Serve as lead and consultant to other team members on incident and task management for delivery of cybersecurity services
• Lead for project delivery tasks and SME
• Respond to incoming calls/pages/emails, schedule and perform improvements/upgrades/repairs
• Maintain 24/7 on-call rotation or swing/night shifts
• Prioritize/execute tasks in high-pressure environment
