Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States–based role. The candidate will lead security programs and advisory services across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001.

The role emphasizes executive risk reporting, client engagements, and building a strong security program across MSP-style environments. Experience guiding AI governance and risk is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audits and evidence management.
• Experience with risk assessments, third‑party risk, cyber insurance, and GRC platforms.
• Ability to advise executives, manage multiple engagements, and assess controls across Windows, macOS, cloud, networking, and identity.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, security strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes and related documentation.
• Manage third‑party risk, vendor due diligence, and cyber insurance questionnaires.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks with stakeholders.
• Mentor and grow Security & Compliance Analysts as the team expands.
