Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, U.S.-based role. You’ll lead multi-framework programs (NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001) and provide vCISO services, guiding clients and internal teams to strengthen security postures.

You’ll manage risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and executive risk reporting while coaching analysts and delivering strategic security guidance to MSP/MSSP clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001.
• Experience guiding audits, evidence management, and compliance assessments.
• Proven ability to advise executives and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance programs and risk initiatives for clients.
• Provide vCISO advisory, security strategy, roadmaps, and board reporting.
• Oversee risk assessments, third‑party and vendor risk, and due diligence.
• Coach Security & Compliance Analysts and scale the team.
• Ensure regulatory obligations are met across multi‑framework standards.
• Collaborate with security operations on incident response and remediation.
