Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a remote Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager to lead security governance, risk, and compliance for clients in a senior advisory role. You will drive programs across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001, while guiding a growing team and delivering executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, governance, risk, or compliance.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audits & evidence management experience.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, vendor risk, cyber insurance support, and use of GRC platforms.
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to advise executives; governance across Windows, macOS, cloud, network, and identities.
• Certifications such as CISM or CISA are preferred.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or advisory programs in MSP/MSSP/consulting environments.
• Familiarity with AI governance and risks; degree or equivalent in Information Security/IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives, including risk assessments, policy development, audit prep, evidence collection, and ongoing monitoring.
• Oversee multi-framework compliance programs (NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001).
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including security strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
• Coach and guide Security & Compliance Analysts as the team grows.
• Collaborate with security ops on incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation.
• Engage in pre-sales engagements and opportunities to expand client security programs.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and contractual obligations across client environments.
• Support backup recovery testing and business continuity guidance.
• Serve as primary liaison between Cyber74 and Kinetix on security guidance.
