Job summary

Great American Insurance Group's Cyber Risk Division seeks an Underwriting Territory Manager to lead a small team, grow new business, and expand the East Coast presence from a remote location with broker engagement.

You will underwrite complex cyber risk accounts, coach talent, manage portfolio performance, and build durable broker relationships while adhering to underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in insurance, risk management, finance or related field.
• 5+ years of cyber underwriting experience preferred; specialty P&C is a plus.
• 2-4+ years of leadership experience leading underwriting teams.
• Strong broker relationships and ability to generate opportunities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable new business production and territory expansion for the East Coast.
• Lead, coach, and develop an underwriting team with accountability and high performance.
• Underwrite complex Cyber Risk accounts and provide technical guidance.
• Execute underwriting strategies for profitable growth, diversification, and market expansion.
• Build and maintain broker relationships to identify and secure opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance, rate adequacy, and exposure management; ensure compliance.
• Represent the division at events and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
