Job summary

AXA XL in the United States seeks a Senior Underwriter to lead the Middle Market Cyber team for the West and Central regions. You will manage renewals, win new business, and mentor junior underwriters while building robust broker relationships.

Reporting to the Head of Middle Markets, Cyber, you will develop a regional business plan, collaborate with actuarial and claims teams, and ensure underwriting excellence and regulatory compliance across North America.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Robust conceptual comprehension of data security, privacy, cyber and information risk.
• The ability to travel a minimum of 15% of the time is anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Team Lead for US Cyber leadership and manage regional broker relationships.
• Mentor junior underwriters while providing underwriting approvals in West/Central regions.
• Handle a book of new and renewal Tech and Cyber business with Team Lead responsibilities.
• Develop and execute a business plan to expand Cyber Central region’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with actuarial and claims teams to meet profit and rate goals.
