DUAL North America is seeking a Senior Underwriter for the Cyber division. You will play a key role in shaping the underwriting framework, managing a portfolio of complex risks, and expanding broker relationships.

In this role, you will provide technical expertise to evaluate insurance submissions, balancing risk exposure, coverage needs, and profitability. Leading and collaborating with a team of underwriters in the Cyber division, you will assess high-stakes cyber risks, lead account

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in risk management, finance, business, or related field.
• CPCU/AU or similar professional designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in underwriting complex risks and broker/client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex risks within granted authority and analyze exposures.
• Ensure submissions meet underwriting standards and profitability.
• Lead portfolio curation with discretion beyond a standard underwriter.
• Identify market risk trends to maximize profitability.
• Guide team production goals with managers.
• Review referrals from junior underwriters.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to teammates.
• Achieve premium income goals and target hit ratios.
• Build broker relationships and attend events as needed.
• Stay updated on market dynamics and product differences.
