Job summary

Ledgebrook is seeking an experienced Cyber Liability Underwriter to join a growing Specialty Lines team. The role focuses on underwriting cyber, tech, and MPL risks for wholesale partners, with emphasis on market-relevant solutions, and data-driven decision making.

The position supports remote work with Chicago-area preference, while open to location within the United States. You will engage with brokers over phone, video, and in-person meetings to drive submissions, build relationships, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as cyber, tech and/or MPL underwriter.
• Experience working in the E&S market.
• Ability to work as a team player or independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep wholesale broker trading relationships.
• Effective communication skills to articulate appetite and develop broker relationships.
• Understanding of pricing and risk selection criteria to achieve underwriting profit.
• Advanced understanding of data analysis and execution of portfolio management objectives.
• Intellectual curiosity and sense of urgency.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with no blaming.
• Willingness to travel to meet brokers or team at events.

Responsibilities

• Drive submission flow with wholesale brokers and convert opportunities quoted.
• Underwrite cyber, tech and MPL risks across industries and sizes.
• Maintain strong broker relationships to optimize risk selection and profitability.
• Analyze data to support portfolio management objectives and underwriting profitability.
