Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related role within the defense tech industry.
• 7+ years of experience within the DoD as a Cyber or Intelligence practitioner.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of the defense tech industry, key players, market trends, and procurement processes.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders; strong networking skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented; able to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers within the defense sector and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Customer Outreach: Initiate contact via calls, emails, and social media; understand needs and how solutions address them.
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders; foster trust through follow-up.
• Product Knowledge: Gain deep understanding of products and effectively communicate benefits and value propositions.
• Collaboration: Work with BD, marketing, product, and finance to enter government markets and provide feedback.
• Sales Process Management: Manage sales process from initial contact to qualified opportunity; track progress toward targets.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
