Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented documentation coordinator to manage the entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers. You will coordinate required paperwork for US customs and government agencies, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain compliant shipment records.

You will provide impeccable customer service, work with carriers and internal teams, and may handle remote filings while adhering to all import/export regulations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience with computer systems for data entry and document creation.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prefer 6 months of related work experience in logistics or import/export.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service to importers and carriers.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing/exporting regulations.
• Work closely with internal staff, other FedEx operations, and customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies are followed and other duties as assigned.
