Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an on-site documentation coordinator to manage US customs paperwork and ensure accurate classification for imports. You will provide superior customer service and handle data entry across multiple systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of experience. Training is provided, and after an initial onsite year, work-from-home options may become available based on company needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No industry experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from SOPs, tariff book, internet or customs.
• Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing/exporting regulations.
• Collaborate with internal staff and customers to deliver high level of service.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• May handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies are followed.
• Paid training provided.
