Job summary

GHY International is seeking a Customs Import Specialist to help keep client shipments moving across the border. You will manage customs releases across multiple transportation modes, review documentation, and communicate with clients and carriers to resolve issues before delays occur.

This role supports a fast-paced environment and offers opportunities to deepen knowledge in international trade, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 Education.
• Prior Brokerage Services/Logistics Experience Preferred.
• Experience with customs entry processing, transportation documentation, or international trade is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Keep shipments moving by monitoring entries and prioritizing by arrival times.
• Process customs entries for truck, rail, ocean, and air shipments.
• Complete in-bonds, AES filings, prior notices, manifests, ISF submissions, and other docs.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor dashboards, identify time-sensitive shipments, escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver dependable service.
