Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented customer service specialist with 12 months brokerage/transportation experience to support customs entry and settlement processes. This remote role demands strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, and requires HS diploma or GED.

You will handle documentation, billing issues, and coordinate post-entry activities while interfacing with clients, brokers, and internal teams. One-year experience preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience required.
• MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment required.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; organizational and inter-personal skills; problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide impeccable customer service and resolve issues affecting freight release or movement.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to U.S. Customs, agents, and clients to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems which could delay timely release or movement of freight.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers to exceed customer service requirements.
• Resolve billing issues and advise customers on payment terms; manage delinquent accounts as needed.
• Perform accurate data input and corrections in computer systems and reconcile entries.
