Job summary

ADT is seeking a Customer Technical Support professional to provide expert assistance for residential and small business customers. You will guide customers through troubleshooting steps, resolve issues, and de-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Troubleshooting skills required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to empathize and connect with the customer.
• Ability to multitask and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated problem solving & customer de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with customers and coworkers.
• Self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Multitask across multiple systems and applications.
• Receive customer inbound phone calls for alarm system and home automation issues, providing technical assistance and education.
• Troubleshoot using guided workflows to resolve issues over the phone.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Present our Virtual Service Call process to save time and money when on the call.
• Assist customers with scheduling an onsite technician visit when needed.
• Provide empathy and ensure excellent customer interactions and experiences.
• Maintain a private quiet workspace meeting company standards with adequate internet bandwidth.
