Job summary

MCI is seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to support inbound and outbound customer service and sales projects. This entry-level position offers on-the-job paid training and does not require previous contact center experience.

Responsibilities include resolving customer inquiries, recognizing sales opportunities, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. Ideal candidates possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, are reliable, and have a customer-service oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute).
• Strong aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation.
• Customer-service oriented: empathetic, responsive, patient.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues.
• Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks.
• Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upsell products and services.
• Interact with hundreds of customers weekly to resolve support issues.
• Ensure first-call resolution through problem solving and effective call handling.
