Job summary

Labcorp in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative to join our team in Charlotte, NC. You will act as a liaison between Labcorp, customers and patients, handling inquiries and coordinating the delivery of test results with courtesy and accuracy.

The position involves a First Shift, Tuesday–Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with responsibilities across multiple systems. A minimum of 3 months in customer service is required; Associate's degree and healthcare experience are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months of customer service experience.
• Preferred: Associate's degree.
• Experience in contact center environment and healthcare a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and lab information systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Labcorp, the customer base and patients.
• Resolve routine customer requests via inbound/outbound calls or web.
• Communicate courteously and professionally following procedures.
• Clarify customer requirements and confirm understanding of solutions.
• Provide additional customer education and information as needed.
• Qualify and establish inbound new customers for Labcorp products/services.
• Research complex issues across databases and patient records.
• Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Support HIPAA-compliant medical records and data maintenance.
