Job summary

Rand Mutual Assurance seeks a Customer Account Executive to grow the COID lives across our full-stack of products through proactive customer engagement and value propositions to targeted employers.

The role includes managing and resolving client service queries, visiting employers to assist with the Return on Earnings, and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication and relationship building.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 6: Diploma in Insurance or related field.
• Experience in Short-term insurance / Medical Insurance or Long-term Insurance.
• 2-3 years’ experience in sales, customer service or claims within an insurance environment would be preferable.
• Experience in selling and growing business, sales and generating leads.
• Experience in managing customer relationships.
• Experience in handling customer complaints.
• Knowledge of COID and Life Insurance products.
• Knowledge of insurance value chain.
• Knowledge of industry regulations (POPI, COIDA, TCF).
• Computer literacy: Outlook, Excel, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Grow lives on the full-stack of products through effective customer engagement and value proposition to targeted employers.
• Provide first-line product, process and technical support to customers.
• Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities through ongoing engagements with customers.
• Follow up on leads and referrals; report on sales activity.
• Maintain relationships with employers and ensure right service is provided.
• Address customer service issues promptly and conduct surveys to drive improvements.
